Our Philosophy

We believe there is a movement practice for everyone.

Exercise is so often seen as a chore or a punishment to negate certain lifestyles or eating habits, but this really doesn’t need to be the case. Training can be enjoyable. By focusing on the process rather than the outcome, we can help you find joy in training and leading a healthy lifestyle.

Think less ‘beach ready’ (whatever that means) and more "life ready" as we build functional strength and bulletproof joints to support you through all stages of life.

We’ve helped hundreds of clients rediscover confidence in their body’s ability to move well, build strength and develop lasting resilience - both physically and mentally.

Let’s get you moving again, naturally and pain-free, so you can handle whatever life throws your way.

About the Founder

Rowena Ramsell-Smith has always had a love for movement and originally trained as a dancer before qualifying as a personal trainer in 2005. Nowadays, she balances her time between the dancefloor and the weights room, and can regularly be found competing in strongwoman competitions.

In 2021, Rowena opened a Personal Training studio in Walthamstow and hasn’t looked back! Today, Move Strong London is an established business in the area and has a lovely, fully equipped personal training studio based in Foundry, right next to the beautiful wetlands.

Move Strong London now boasts a diverse team with a wide range of specialisations, helping clients of all backgrounds reach their personal goals.
